But what is regeneration anyway? And why is it important for your personal training planning?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Regeneration means: recovery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Regeneration is simply about allowing the body to recover. Recovery means: to get back from a stressed state to a more efficient one. So that one can then give everything again to achieve the desired build-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, very important: <em>The muscle build-up you want to achieve will only take place when the trained muscle has recovered.<\/em> This means: <em>An too early next training session will hinder this build-up!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Recovery? From what?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Regeneration is about <em>repairing <\/em>something. In build-up training these are the muscles that are under stress. Why repaired? <em>Because they have been damaged by hard training.<\/em> No, no muscle tears or anything.  But: Very small, but many mini injuries that you cannot see with the naked eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>What, regeneration? Sauna, or what?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mytrs.at\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/mytrs-phone-status_en.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55\" width=\"250\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mytrs.at\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/mytrs-phone-status_en.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.mytrs.at\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/mytrs-phone-status_en-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.mytrs.at\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/mytrs-phone-status_en-768x692.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>But what does that mean exactly? Doing nothing at all, getting a massage or going to the sauna instead of a workout?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many things you can do to promote regeneration. But the most important point is: <em>You should not do anything that puts a heavy load on muscles that are still stressed from the last training.<\/em> Therefore it is important to know which of your muscles are in which condition today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All the time you can read here about regeneration.
